Member Club Representatives are encouraged to wear red at our monthly meetings which are held on the first Friday of each month (except July). It is our way of joining a national movement to have all citizens wear red every Friday to show support to our Uniformed Servicemen and Servicewomen. [4 Dec 09]

Leo Pimple (AMVETS), speaks at the 31 May 2010 dedication of the AMVETS Carillon located in the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery (SAVMC). Leo was the driving force that resulted in this great addition to the cemetery. The SAVMC Foundation was the main local organization assisting and planning the whole project with Leo. Many organizations and individuals contributed the needed funds. At the risk of leaving someone out, the Member Clubs of the JSCGSV that contributed include:
